It states that 'Emotion cannot be created nor destroyed, it can only be transferred from one form to another'.
You're probably familiar with different law of conservation existing today, but how about the law of conservation of emotion?
Emotion is defined by Merriam Webster as a conscious mental reaction (as anger or fear) subjectively experienced as strong feeling usually directed toward a specific object and typically accompanied by physiological and behavioral changes in the body. Emotion cannot be seen by our naked eye nor any microscopic and even nanoscropic devices. Just like energy, it can only be felt by human. Sometimes it hurts an individual, but sometimes it is the source of happiness.
How emotion can be conserved? Emotion is a part of any individual, whether you're a normal or special person and have a diseases. Even people who doesn't think and doesn't know how to think has his own version of emotion.
It is always there, but where? A normal person has a balanced emotion. Balanced means that he is not in bad mood nor in good mood, he is not happy nor sad, he is not in sorrow nor in ecstacy. A balanced emotion is only arbitrary because every second, we are experiencing emotions shifting in different levels of different kind. You can be happy and sad at the same time but in different levels. Imagine that emotion is a tag of war game, in two ends are exactly opposite kind of emotion. The one who exerts much power increases a certain level while the other side decreases by the same amount.
In reality, when you're in extreme happiness, the sadness you experience is negligible and vice versa.
As mentioned earlier, emotion can be shifted from one kind to another and can occur at the same time at different amplitude but there are limitations in using emotions together at the peak of their levels. It is not the emotion that can put you in danger but it is how you react on it. It is true that you cannot control your emotion, the only thing you can manipulate is yourself. You can't say that today you're happy, after an hour you're in pain, tomorrow you're in regrets. Emotions are transients that we cannot predict but we can anticipate.
